At 1:14 a.m. on Sunday, November 28th, City of Bradenton Fire Department (BFD) personnel responded to a reported outside fire endangering a structure at 807 24th Avenue West. Responding units spotted a large column of smoke and flames while en route. Upon arrival at 1:17 a.m., the first responding units found a large amount of fire encompassing most of the commercial property.

Overnight Bradenton Supply Yard Fire Encompassed Commerical Property

BRADENTON, FL. – At 1:14 a.m. on Sunday, November 28th, City of Bradenton Fire Department (BFD) personnel responded to a reported outside fire endangering a structure at 807 24th Avenue West.

Responding units spotted a large column of smoke and flames while en route.

Upon arrival at 1:17 a.m., the first responding units found a large amount of fire encompassing most of the commercial property. Aerial operations were established along with multiple hose lines and monitors.

More than 30 fire personnel from four agencies worked the incident and brought the situation under control at 4:51 a.m., according to Bradenton Fire Department.

Damage estimates could not yet be determined.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bradenton Fire Department and State Fire Marshal’s Office.
