Over 833K Mail-In Ballots Cast As Florida Prepares For Early Voting In November Elections

More than 833,000 Floridians have already cast mail-in ballots ahead of the November 5 elections, according to data posted by the state Division of Elections on Thursday morning. The report shows that election supervisors have received 833,464 mail-in ballots so far.

Among these, 355,709 ballots were cast by Democrats, 307,822 by Republicans, 153,407 by unaffiliated voters, and 16,526 by third-party voters.

Early voting is set to begin on Monday, with nearly three dozen counties scheduled to open early-voting sites. All counties across the state are required to offer early voting by October 26, but some are taking advantage of the option to start as early as Monday.

According to the Division of Elections, counties that will begin early voting on Monday include Bay, Bradford, Brevard, Calhoun, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Columbia, DeSoto, Duval, Gadsden, Hillsborough, Indian River, Jefferson, Lee, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Marion, Martin, Okaloosa, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Santa Rosa, Seminole, Taylor, Wakulla, and Washington.

As the state prepares for early voting, the Division of Elections also reported that 603,731 vote-by-mail ballots had been cast by Tuesday morning, highlighting the strong voter turnout in advance of the official election day.
