Just before 7 p.m. Saturday, December 12th, deputies from Hillsborough County Florida, were asked to assist with finding a cow on Tampa Executive Airport property.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff, “The cow had been seen actively on the runway, and Airport Authority wanted to get this loose animal mooooving before any planes could strike it.”
HCSO pilots used their FLIR camera to locate the animal and direct its owner and airport staff to its location. They were able to corner the cow on the southside of airport property and take the animal into custody, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
