TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) fought a single-alarm structure fire at a storage facility early in the morning on Sunday.
HCFR’s Emergency Dispatch Center received a 911 call at 3:44 AM from a first-party caller stating flames and smoke were visible from one of the units located at 5809 N 50th Street in Tampa.
“All units from HCFR’s station 32 arrived on the scene together, confirming visible flames and a working fire,” said HCFR.
Engine 32 pulled an attack line while Truck 32 and Heavy Rescue 32 gained access to the units involved.
Crews quickly knocked down the blaze, limiting it to just two of the units.
There were occupants inside the unit at the time of the fire, and one individual was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
