PLANT CITY, Fla. – A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Saturday and police are seeking tips in this incident.
On Saturday, at approximately 12:25 a.m., the Plant City Police Department Communications Center received a 911 call where the caller advised of an adult male who was struck by a vehicle while walking.
An adult male was walking along the southbound shoulder of County Line Rd. when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

After striking the pedestrian, the truck fled the area without stopping.
Police say at this stage of the investigation, the suspect vehicle is believed to be a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
The vehicle may have damage along the passenger side. The identity of the male has been withheld, pending notification of next-of-kin.
