TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is currently conducting a shooting investigation after one man was shot and injured early Friday.
According to police, at 4:44 AM, officers responded to 4610 N. Armenia Ave for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with lower body trauma.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The parties involved remained on the scene. There is no threat to the public at this time, and the investigation is ongoing, police say.
