One Man Dies After Crash In Largo Friday

LARGO, Fla. - The Largo Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the intersection of 113th Street N and 126th Avenue N for a two-vehicle crash.

LARGO, Fla. – The Largo Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the intersection of 113th Street N and 126th Avenue N for a two-vehicle crash.

According to police, a 2001 Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on 126th Avenue N and was crossing over 113th Street N. 

The Nissan Altima did not yield to a south bound 1987 Chevy Silverado, who had the right of way.

The Chevy Silverado struck the Nissan Altima, which caused significant damage to both vehicles.  Both drivers were transported to local hospitals. 

The driver of the Chevy Silverado sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver of the Nissan Altima later passed away from his injuries at Bay Front Hospital. Alcohol was not a factor in this traffic crash investigation, police say.
