One Dead Following Shooting In Beacon Woods, Hudson

HUDSON, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Beacon Woods area of Hudson earlier today, around 1:50 p.m.

According to preliminary information, an argument between people who knew each other escalated, resulting in an adult male being shot.

The victim was immediately transported to the hospital. However, authorities have confirmed that he has succumbed to his injuries and has been pronounced deceased.

The shooter is currently in custody.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has stated that this incident appears to be isolated and does not pose a threat to the wider community.
