Former President Donald Trump on Monday delivered to his foes and critics his own unique brand of Christmas message.
Suffice to say, Trump, facing multiple dubious prosecutions and having been called an insurrectionist by the current incumbent, did not call for very much “peace on Earth.”
“Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked [President] Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith,” Trump’s Christmas post on Truth Social began. Truth Social is the former president’s own social media platform.

Continuing with Smith, the special federal prosecutor pursuing Trump over alleged 2020 election fraud and the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, Trump added, “the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA.’”
Then, Trump took on enemies, foreign and domestic.
“Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and ‘sick’ as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA.”
“MAY THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Trump concluded.
Earlier on Monday, Trump had also posted, “It’s hard to have a truly great Christmas when you have a Crooked and Incompetent President who wants to put his Political Opponent in jail, and who has been working hard (for a change!), illegally using all of the levers of Law Enforcement, to do so.”
“We are in the fight of our lives to save our Country from MADNESS & DOOM. MAGA 2024!!!”
But not all was so “bah humbug” from the 45th president.

His holiday thread on Truth Social on Monday also included an elegant portrait of himself, clad in a tuxedo, and Melania, in a lavish, long-sleeved white gown, framed by a brightly lit array of Christmas trees, with the simple message: “Merry Christmas.”
And prior to that, Trump also had issued a video message on Christmas Eve, in which he wished everyone, perhaps including Jack Smith, a happy and joyous holiday season.
“The birth of Jesus Christ is the true miracle we celebrate each year. He is the ultimate source of our joy, our hope, and our sense of peace and goodwill as we gather with family and loved ones,” Trump said in the video. “It is such a great time of the year. This is why we can never stop saying that beautiful phrase, ‘Merry Christmas.’”
