Shelby English, a 42-year-old Omaha resident, was sentenced in federal court to 130 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine. The sentence was handed down by United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher and included a five-year term of supervised release upon completion of her prison term.

The conviction stems from a controlled purchase of 111 grams of methamphetamine from English on May 24, 2023.

The transaction occurred at a residence on the 45th block of N. 41st Street in Omaha, where co-defendant Alondra Rebolledo accompanied English.

Rebolledo is alleged to have provided the methamphetamine to English, who then sold it to a confidential source. The substance was later confirmed by forensic testing to be 94.2% pure methamphetamine.

Rebolledo’s trial is scheduled for August 20, 2024, and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced the sentencing, emphasizing the commitment of law enforcement to combatting the distribution of illegal substances in the community.
