Brian Alec Light, 58, of Hudson, Ohio, will soon plead guilty to federal charges for his role in selling a stolen Andy Warhol print. Light, formerly of Los Angeles, admitted to transporting the stolen artwork across state lines.

The print, a rare trial proof of Vladimir Lenin, was stolen from a Los Angeles home in early 2021. The thief sold it to a pawnshop, which then contacted Light to help sell the valuable artwork.

Light, knowing it was stolen, consigned it to an auction house in Beverly Hills.

The artwork was shipped to Dallas for inspection, where an employee recognized it as stolen after contacting the original gallery in West Hollywood.

The FBI was alerted, and Light attempted to cover his tracks by forging a receipt.
