TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers heading north on I-75 in Tampa will encounter a detour Sunday night as crews work on a new overhead sign structure.
From 11 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, all northbound I-75 traffic will be detoured off the interstate at Exit 257 (SR 60).

Detour Route:
- Exit I-75 at Exit 257 (SR 60/Adamo Drive)
- Turn left onto SR 60
- Turn right onto Falkenburg Road
- Turn right onto SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)
- Re-enter northbound I-75
This temporary closure is necessary for crews to install a new overhead sign structure as part of ongoing I-75 ramp configuration and interchange modifications from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) to I-4.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and be aware of construction workers.
