TAMPA, Fla. – All motorists traveling northbound on I-275 will have to detour off the interstate using Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (Exit 46B) on Friday, August 25 from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
During this closure, northbound motorists will exit I-275 using Exit 46B, proceed east onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, north onto Nebraska Avenue, west onto Hillsborough Avenue, and continue west towards the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during this detour.
This temporary closure is necessary for crews to perform overhead sign structure work as part of the I-275 Capacity Improvements project.
