A North Carolina man is facing federal charges in Pennsylvania related to the production of child pornography. Brayan Garcia-Vazquez, 24, of Havelock, NC, was indicted on October 16th by a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
The indictment alleges that Garcia-Vazquez recorded himself engaging in sexual acts with a minor in Cumberland County, PA, on April 5, 2023. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison.

The case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
