A Fayetteville, North Carolina, Blood gang member, Terrence Michael Pittman, who headed a major drug trafficking organization responsible for distributing thousands of pounds of high-grade marijuana, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Pittman pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to drug trafficking and firearm possession.

Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden emphasized the collaborative efforts of local, state, and federal law enforcement in combating gun violence and drug trafficking. The investigation, initiated in 2019, uncovered Pittman’s extensive marijuana operation.
Evidence included witness testimonies, traffic stops resulting in significant cash and drug seizures, and wiretapped phone calls revealing Pittman’s large-scale marijuana purchases and distribution network.
Searches of multiple stash houses and Pittman’s residence yielded nearly $100,000 in cash, valuable jewelry, a substantial quantity of marijuana, and several firearms.

Several other members of Pittman’s drug trafficking organization have also been convicted. This case exemplifies the successful collaboration between agencies under the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) to dismantle high-level criminal networks.
