SEFFNER, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a garage fire on Arch Ridge Loop in Seffner late Thursday night, just as Fourth of July celebrations were winding down.
Calls flooded into dispatch at 9:58 pm reporting flames erupting from a home garage. Firefighters arrived to find a two-story residence with heavy fire engulfing the garage.
Crews wasted no time, quickly deploying hose lines into the house to attack the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Additional firefighters conducted a thorough search of the residence to ensure everyone was safe. Thankfully, no occupants were found inside, and everyone was accounted for outside the house.
The fire was extinguished quickly, and thankfully, there were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
