No Answers In Murder Of 21-Year-Old Handicapped Florida Woman Danielle Blackburn

A woman murdered 14 years ago has still not received justice, and police working the case seek your help to bring her killer(s) to justice.

On February 10, 2009, at approximately 11:07 am, Fort Myers Police responded to Maplecrest Apartments, located at 3623 Crestwood Lake Circle, Apt 108, in reference to an unconscious female.

The female was found lying in a bathtub located off the main hallway of the apartment.

The victim of this homicide was 21-year-old Danielle Blackburn.

According to police, Danielle was handicapped and was limited in her mobility because she suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and was unable to defend herself against her assailant.

SWFL Crime Stoppers and the Fort Myers Police Department Homicide /Cold Case Unit are looking for the public’s assistance in bringing this case to a successful conclusion for the Blackburn family.

The family needs closure but can only get it with your help.

Any person that may have information is asked to please come forward. We are especially interested in anyone who may have knowledge of what happened to Danielle or anyone who may have seen the adult male who Danielle was familiar with at or near her apartment that morning.

There is still a reward being offered for the arrest of the individual responsible.
