ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Drivers in St. Petersburg should be aware of nightly closures affecting a key entrance ramp. The southbound I-275 entrance ramp from westbound I-375 will be closed on Wednesday, April 2nd, and Thursday, April 3rd, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
During these temporary closures, motorists will need to follow a detour:
- Travel south on Martin Luther King Jr. Street South
- Merge onto the I-175 westbound entrance ramp
- Continue southbound on I-275

Drivers are advised to expect delays and potential congestion while using this detour. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be in place to assist drivers navigating the area.
These ramp closures are required to facilitate the I-375 concrete pavement repair project, which spans from I-275 to 4th Avenue North in Pinellas County. Construction on this project is anticipated to be completed in 2026.
