TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida has released a new rendering offering a glimpse into its future on-campus stadium, set to open in 2027. The highlight: a dedicated student section on the west side, complete with its own entrance, restrooms, and concessions.
This exclusive space will accommodate over 8,000 students and showcase the iconic “Bull U” logo. Additionally, a DJ booth will be incorporated into the design to keep the energy high throughout game days.

“The passion of the student body is what makes college sports so special,” said Vice President for Athletics, Michael Kelly. “On the heels of record student demand for the upcoming game against Miami, we are thrilled to offer a glimpse of the future South Florida student experience on game day. Many of the amenities included on the west side of the stadium were based on student feedback and we thank them for wanting to be a part of this exciting future we are creating together!”
The on-campus stadium’s groundbreaking is scheduled for October 18th, with more renderings expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
