HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla – An 18-year-old New Port Richey woman was killed in a crash that happened on Monday around 10:06 pm.
Troopers say an Infiniti Q50, with four passengers, was traveling eastbound on Tundra Drive approaching the intersection of Brookridge Central Boulevard when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The vehicle entered the shoulder, rotated, overturned, and came to rest upright in a retention pond.

A passenger in the vehicle, an 18-year-old New Port Richey woman, was ejected during the crash and suffered serious injuries.
Transported to an area hospital, she later died from her injuries.
