PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old New Port Richey man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Pasco County Tuesday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. south of County Road 54. A Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound in the outside lane when it collided with a Kia Sportage that was stopped in the same lane.
At the same time, a Honda Pilot, also traveling northbound, merged into the outside lane and was struck by the motorcycle. The impact of the collisions resulted in fatal injuries to the motorcyclist.

The drivers of the other two vehicles, a 39-year-old woman from Zephyrhills in the Kia and a 34-year-old man from Wesley Chapel in the Honda, were uninjured. Three passengers in the Honda, a 36-year-old woman, an 8-year-old boy, and a 6-year-old girl, all from Wesley Chapel, were also unharmed.
The FHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
