PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A New Port Richey man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison for distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Anthony Joseph Fresco, 68, received his sentence from U.S. District Judge William Jung following a guilty plea entered in October 2024.
Court documents reveal that Fresco engaged in online conversations with an undercover FBI agent in January 2023, expressing his sexual interest in minors and sharing explicit images and videos of CSAM.

A subsequent search of Fresco’s electronic devices uncovered a disturbing collection of CSAM, including depictions of infants and toddlers being sexually abused. Investigators also found evidence that Fresco had distributed these materials in various online groups.
In addition to the prison sentence, Judge Jung ordered Fresco to forfeit the electronic devices used in the offenses, pay $33,000 in restitution to the victims, and register as a sex offender upon his release.
