New Port Richey Man Dies After Motorcycle Crashes Into Car On US-19

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A New Port Richey man has died after a crash that happened Saturday around 2:45 pm on US-19.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Dodge Challenger was traveling northbound on US-19 and, at the intersection of Louis Avenue, turned left into the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Troopers say the motorcycle, driven by a 54-year-old New Port Richey man, crashed into the Dodge.

The driver of the Dodge, a 42-year-old Palm Harbor man, was not injured during the collision.

However, the New Port Richey man suffered severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he died overnight.
