President Joe Biden got hammered in two polls this week, highlighting how unpopular he remains despite the mainstream media’s efforts to prop him up.
As the Tampa Free Press reported earlier this week, a new Reuters poll showed Biden’s approval rating had slipped from 40% to 38%.
A new CNN poll confirmed that rating.
CNN also pegged Biden’s approval score at 38%, but added some context.

Biden’s current polling number is the lowest recorded by a sitting president in the month of January during an election year in the history of modern polling, Breitbart noted.
In that regard, Biden significantly trails former President Donald Trump, who had the previous low point, clocking in at 43% in January 2020.
In comparison, the highest scores belonged to former Presidents Dwight Eisenhower in 1956 (77%) and Lyndon Johnson in 1964 (76%).
The pollster FiveThirtyEight reported that Biden also has the highest net disapproval rating of any modern president at the 1,080-day mark in office, which was Jan. 4.

Biden was 17 points underwater at the time. The next lowest was again Trump, but only at 11 points.
CNN’s poll contained more bad news for Biden as 66% of independents disapprove of Biden’s performance, and 70% say he does not deserve re-election.
In addition, Trump commands significant support from groups allegedly loyal to Biden and the Democrats.
The Republican frontrunner claims support from 46% of voters under age 35 and 35% of non-white voters.
