Sonia Miller, 54, a resident of New Orleans, pleaded guilty on January 16, 2025, to theft of U.S. mail matter by a postal employee.
According to court documents, on or around March 14, 2023, Miller unlawfully removed the contents of several parcels of mail entrusted to her care as a postal employee.

Miller faces a maximum sentence of five years imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, up to five years of supervised release, and a mandatory special assessment fee of $100.
