A 26-year-old New Jersey woman has been arrested and charged with attempting to hire someone to kill her 53-year-old ex-boyfriend, a Philadelphia police officer, and his 19-year-old daughter.
Jaclyn Diiorio is accused of orchestrating the murder-for-hire plot, which was uncovered by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office on April 3.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by WCAU-TV, Diiorio allegedly met a confidential informant on the dating app Tinder and offered to pay him $12,000 to carry out the killings. She reportedly offered an initial payment of $500, with plans to pay the remaining balance in installments.

Investigators learned that Diiorio’s ex-boyfriend had ended their relationship on March 6.
Prosecutors have charged Diiorio with two counts of first-degree attempted murder, one count of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, and one count of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
