New Jersey ‘Rollin’ 60s’ Gang Member Pleads Guilty To Racketeering Conspiracy

Nygee Johnson, also known as “Gito,” a 25-year-old member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips gang, admitted his involvement in a racketeering conspiracy in a Newark federal court on July 17, 2024.

U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced that Johnson pleaded guilty to charges related to his participation in the criminal enterprise, which was active from 2015 to September 2022, and engaged in violent acts and drug distribution throughout New Jersey and beyond.

Court documents and statements revealed that Johnson conspired with fellow gang members and associates to commit bank fraud and distribute controlled substances.

Johnson’s maximum sentence is up to 20 years in prison, and his potential fine is up to $250,000. His sentencing is scheduled for December 3, 2024.
