The investigation into the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson continues to unfold, with authorities revealing new details about the suspect’s movements leading up to the fatal shooting.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that the suspect traveled to New York City from Atlanta via Greyhound bus on November 24th, ten days before the attack. It remains unclear whether the suspect boarded the bus in Atlanta or at a later stop along the route.

Upon arriving in New York City, the suspect checked into a hostel on the Upper West Side, using a fake New Jersey driver’s license. He paid for his stay in cash and checked out on November 29th, before checking back in again on November 30th.
On the morning of the shooting, the suspect was captured on surveillance footage leaving the hostel and heading towards the New York Hilton Midtown, where Thompson was scheduled to attend a meeting. The suspect, wearing a mask, approached Thompson from behind and shot him multiple times.
Police believe the suspect then fled the scene on an e-bike, which he abandoned in Central Park. The origin of the e-bike remains unknown.
In a chilling detail, a female employee at the hostel recalled an interaction with the suspect. She stated that the suspect, while wearing a mask, flirted with her and briefly lowered his mask. It was during this moment that the photos released by the NYPD were captured.
