Anthony Stephens, a 38-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced to 188 months (over 15 years) in federal prison on August 23, 2024, for his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy.

In addition to the prison sentence, Stephens will forfeit $10,500 and serve a 10-year term of supervised release after his imprisonment.

Stephens’ arrest stemmed from a September 2022 incident at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Bellevue, Nebraska. Law enforcement was called to remove Stephens from his room after he failed to check out.

When officers entered, they found him unresponsive. A search of the room revealed a significant amount of drugs, including 851 grams of pure meth, along with cash, drug paraphernalia, and weapons.

Stephens later admitted to dealing meth since April 2022.
