A Louisville, Kentucky, “activist” who championed gun control and who promoted violence prevention to kids was arrested on charges that he shot at a Democratic mayoral candidate on Monday.

NBC News Stands Out Reporting On Left-Wing Activist Shot At Mayoral Candidate, Bailed Out By BLM

Here’s how desperate the media is to try to save the Democrats’ bacon in November.

Only one major player in the liberal media is actually calling out Black Lives Matter for bailing out a possible political assassin.

As The Free Press reported this week, the Louisville Community Bail Fund, a local BLM chapter in Kentucky, posted $100,000 bail for Quintez Brown.

Brown, a BLM supporter who ironically has spoken out in favor of gun control and worked with an anti-violence group, is accused of attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment for opening fire on Monday in the office of Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg.

No one was injured in the shooting, but Greenberg did report having a bullet hole in his sweater.

According to the conservative website Newsbusters.org, CBS News has simply ignored the story. ABC News let it sit until Thursday, until granting it a whole 29 seconds so anchor David Muir could explain that Brown was a “social justice activist,” with no mention of BLM. Muir added that Brown was freed after a “community organization” posted his bail, but he neglected to mention the connection to BLM.

Yet the “NBC Nightly News” stood out, according to Newsbusters.

The network, “in stark contrast” to its competitors, as Newsbusters put it, “hit all the major points” of Brown’s release. Those included that he was an anti-gun activist, and that a local BLM chapter bailed him out.

NBC News even interviewed Greenberg.

As the candidate told the network, “Our criminal justice system is clearly broken. It’s nearly impossible for me to believe that someone can try to kill someone on Monday and walk out of jail on Wednesday.”

He added, “I think there is a big difference in looking at the bail issue for nonviolent suspects versus violent suspects.”

There is also a big difference between reporting the news and not reporting it in order to further your own political proclivities.
