In order to “kill as many people as possible,” take hostages, and swiftly transport them into the Gaza Strip, Hamas devised elaborate plans to target primary schools and a youth center in the Israeli kibbutz of Kfar Sa’ad, according to documents that NBC News has obtained.
The plans for the attack, marked “top secret” in Arabic, seem to direct two highly skilled Hamas units to surround and enter communities, focusing on areas where civilians congregate, especially children, according to NBC News.
The number of fatalities in Kfar Sa’ad is still being ascertained by Israeli officials.
Israeli first responders discovered the documents on the bodies of Hamas terrorists, and they were subsequently shared with NBC News. They demonstrate that Hamas planned to murder or kidnap citizens and schoolchildren and include intricate blueprints of the areas.
A plan of attack for Kfar Sa’ad is laid out on a single page marked “Top Secret.” It states that “Combat unit 1” is to “contain the new Da’at school,” and that “Combat unit 2” is to “collect hostages,” “search the Bnei Akiva youth center,” and “search the old Da’at school.”

A strategy for a Hamas unit to hold the east side of Kfar Sa’ad while another unit maintains control of the west is detailed on a another page titled “Top Secret Maneuver.” “Kills as many as possible” and “captures hostages” are mentioned. Holding hostages within a dining hall is one of the other directives.
According to two Israeli Army and government sources, the comprehensive attack plan for Kfar Sa’ad is among many documents that Israeli officials are reviewing. T
The tactics described in the documents obtained by NBC News are similar to those seen in surveillance footage of Hamas terrorists breaking into a kibbutz on October 7.
According to the Israeli authorities, a larger collection of documents demonstrates that Hamas was methodically obtaining information about every kibbutz bordering Gaza and developing detailed attack plans for every hamlet, including deliberately targeting women and children.
“The dental office, the supermarket, the dining hall,” an Israel Defense Forces source told NBC. “The level of specificity would cause anyone in the intelligence field’s jaw to drop.”
The planned strike plans contradict Hamas’s recent denials that it killed any children. Armed terrorists were seen cradling and feeding Israeli youngsters, including babies, in a video that Hamas posted on Friday.
