LAKELAND, Fla. – Vincent Scarsella’s musical play about the Vietnam War, “Nam – A Musical Drama of the Vietnam War,” will be performed at the Stage Room at 310 E. Lemon Street in downtown Lakeland at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday, November 3-4, and at 2 PM, Sunday, November 5, 2023.
The play tells the story of the Vietnam War through two brothers – one joins the Army to fight the spread of communism while the other leads anti-war protests to save America.
From the jungles of Vietnam to the college campus, follow the brothers on their conflicting journeys punctuated by the great music of the 1960s.
Directed by Lakeland Director Jon Fedkiw and starring talented Lakeland area actors, Eric Daniel, Samuel Hernandez, Tammy Hanson, Dennis Williams, and Marcus Thompson, Jr.
