POLK COUNTY, FL – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is appealing to the public for information regarding a shooting incident that occurred on Interstate 4 on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The incident appears to be a case of one vehicle firing upon another.

At approximately 3:47 PM, the PCSO received a 911 call from a woman reporting that she had been grazed by a projectile that entered her truck through the driver’s side window.

The victim was driving westbound on I-4 in the area between the on and off-ramps of State Road 559, located between Polk City and Auburndale. She was driving a white 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck with an Orkin logo.
