ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Museum of History and Star Trolley are partnering to offer a unique and insightful tour exploring the history of the Civil Rights movement in St. Petersburg.

The tour, scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd, will take participants on a journey through the city’s past, highlighting key locations and events that shaped the struggle for equality.

The tour will cover significant sites such as the South Mole Beach and Spa Pool, where segregation once prevailed, and locations of lunch counter sit-ins and acts of civil disobedience at City Hall.

Participants will learn about the challenges and triumphs of those who fought for equal rights in St. Petersburg.

  • Cost: $35 for museum members, $45 for non-members

  • Reservations are required due to limited seating on the trolley.

Parking is available in the Pier’s Dolphin lot adjacent to the museum, as well as in the Sundial Parking Garage and on Bayshore and Beach Drives (fees may apply).
