TAMPA, Fla. – One person is dead, and two others were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Tampa Wednesday.
According to investigators, at 12:42 pm, officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 10000 block of 23rd Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located multiple shooting victims. There is no word yet on the ages and severity of the victims nor exactly how many people were shot.
One person is in custody, police say. The suspect and victims are known to each other, and there is no threat to the public, according to police.
