POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A road rage incident involving a pointed firearm, captured on dashcam video, has led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Mulberry man. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) made the arrest five days after the incident occurred on Friday, March 28, 2025.

The incident unfolded around 2:00 p.m. as a work truck turned onto State Road 37 from Dean Street and headed north. A white Mercedes-Benz overtook the truck and then abruptly brake-checked it.

As the vehicles passed each other again, the driver of the Mercedes allegedly pointed a handgun at the two men in the truck and shouted, “I am going to blow your brains out!” before speeding away.

Fortunately, the entire confrontation was recorded on the truck’s dash camera.

On April 1, 2025, the victims reported the incident to the PCSO’s Mulberry office. A PCSO detective identified the driver of the Mercedes as Camden Davis.

When confronted at his Mulberry residence, Davis initially claimed the truck had cut him off, prompting him to honk his horn. However, when shown a still image from the dashcam video depicting him pointing a gun out the window, Davis admitted to being the armed individual.

Camden Davis was arrested, and a black Taurus pistol was recovered from his residence. He has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (F3). The dashcam video played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
