Hypocrisy and liberals go together like beer and tailgate parties, fireworks and the Fourth of July, pretend pirates, and the Gasparilla festival.

But it wasn’t until after our recent story about the Moms for Liberty was initially reported that the Tampa Free Press spotted another incident of left-wing hypocrisy.

On Monday, we reported about Moms’ co-founder Tiffany Justice’s appearance on MSNBC’s “The Reidout” with host Joy Reid. Justice appeared to defend the group’s actions to remove porn-laced books from school libraries.

Alternating between frustration, condescension and belligerence during the long segment on Friday night, Reid accused the group of reading sexually explicit passages “out of context,” and repeatedly demanded that Justice explain what “expertise” she and other conservative parents have to argue for removing such books.

“In what context is a strap-on dildo acceptable for public school? That’s my question to you,” Justice replied. “Tell me what the context around a strap-on dildo or the rape of a minor child by a teacher.”

“I don’t have to be an ‘expert’ to know that dildos aren’t appropriate for a school library,” she added.

Despite Reid’s assertions that books with such content belong in public schools and available to all students, her own staff couldn’t handle the truth.

As The Blaze pointed out on Monday, Reid’s social media wranglers posted Justice’s comment on the host’s X account. Except for one thing: they deleted the words “strap-on dildo.”

Quoting Justice, the post read: “In what context is a XXXX-XX XXXXX acceptable for public school?”

The deletion remained up on Monday night.

Conservatives took note.

“If Joy Reid isn’t comfortable writing ‘strap-on dildo’ on X, why does she demand that it be made available to children in public schools?” journalist Christopher Rufo said on X.

“If you think you have to censor ‘strap-on dildo’ for your twitter post; then why do you think that content would be appropriate for children to read about in a public school?” added the owner of the X account Andrew@Don’t Walk, Run!.

The X account Billy Bragg added, “You can’t even write the words here but you think children should be exposed to this content? Tribalism has broken your brain.”
