CLEARWATER, Fla. – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred late Friday night on the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Clearwater.
The motorcyclist, 19-year-old Ramon Castro Jr. of Tampa, collided with the back of a car in the eastbound lanes around 11 p.m.

He was transported to Mease Countryside Hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash, which led to the closure of eastbound lanes for several hours during the investigation.
