Another state legislature was interrupted, this time with riot police, as left-wing protesters disrupted proceedings in support of a transgender lawmaker.
This time it was in Montana.
On Monday, LGBTQ activists stormed the Montana House of Representatives to support a transgender lawmaker censured by Republicans because of radical comments made during a debate over a ban on gender-related treatments for children.
Last week, Democratic state Rep. Zooey Zephyr, a biological man who identifies as a woman, argued, “The only thing I will say, is if you vote yes on this bill and yes on these amendments, I hope the next time there’s an invocation when you bow your heads in prayer, you see the blood on your hands.”
In response, GOP lawmakers censured Zephyr for what one called “hate-filled testimony.”
On Monday, Zephyr fans countered by rushing the legislature. They paraded about the chamber, although apparently not reaching the House floor, chanting “Let her speak!”

The House stopped its business until order could be restored. The Montana Free Press reported that seven people were arrested for criminal trespassing.
The incident is the latest in a string of attacks on GOP lawmakers and those who support efforts to protect women and children.
Last week, according to The New York Post, pro-trans protesters vandalized the Utah home of Republican state Sen. Mike Kennedy, who also proposed a bill banning sex-change procedures on children. Kennesy’s home was trashed with red spray-painted messages that said “Fash,” short for fascist, and “These trannies bash back.”
Earlier this month, trans activists at San Francisco State University assaulted all-American swimmer Riley Gaines during a speech and forced Gaines to hide in a room in fear of her own safety.

Gaines was on campus to advocate blocking trans women from playing in female sports.
Last month, as in Montana on Monday, pro-trans protesters raided the Capitol in Kentucky to protest the Republicans’ override of the Democratic governor’s veto of a bill outlawing “gender-affirming care” for children. Several people were arrested on criminal trespassing charges.
The protesters chanted, “When trans kids are under attack, what do we do? Say ‘no,’ fight back.”
And finally, in the most horrific incident, Audrey Hale, a biological woman who identified as male, invaded a Christian school in Nashville and murdered six people, including three children, in a mass shooting.
