MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A 43-year-old Miami man has been arrested on multiple charges related to cocaine trafficking.
Gerald Lloyd Joseph Benjamin was taken into custody on Thursday following an investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations and High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) detectives. Benjamin is accused of selling approximately one ounce of cocaine during the investigation.

He was charged with trafficking in cocaine, use of a two-way communications device to facilitate a felony, and four outstanding warrants for cocaine sales that occurred in 2024.
