Monroe County Deputy Arrested On 19 Felony Charges, Held On $1.9M Bond

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy Jennifer Ketcham, 40, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with 19 felony counts of misusing law enforcement computer systems for personal reasons.

Sheriff Rick Ramsay expressed his commitment to transparency and accountability, stating, “I am committed to keeping this community informed of significant events that occur in this agency — good and bad.”

Ketcham, who was hired in June 2021, allegedly used law enforcement databases to access information beyond the scope of her duties as a deputy. She has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending an internal affairs investigation.

Ketcham’s bond has been set at $1.9 million. The investigation into her alleged misconduct is ongoing.
