Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis collected about $1.58 million from Sept. 3 through Sept. 9 for his political committee and campaign, while Democratic gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist pulled in about $1.38 million, according to newly filed finance reports.
The Friends of Ron DeSantis committee collected $643,867 during the period and had about $109.4 million on hand as of Sept. 9.
Meanwhile, DeSantis’ campaign collected $932,941 during the period and had about $10 million on hand.
The Friends of Charlie Crist committee raised $499,491 during the period and had about $2.13 million on hand. Crist’s campaign collected $884,681 and had nearly $3 million on hand.
The totals for the campaigns include state matching funds. DeSantis received $338,390 in matching funds on Sept. 9, while Crist received $225,061, according to a state database.
