Moms For America® Sponsored March To Take Place In Lakeland Friday

LAKELAND, FL. – On Friday, August 13, healthcare workers from Lakeland and the surrounding area will be gathering at Munn Park for a march sponsored by Moms For America.

According to a news release, Watson Clinic just announced mandatory vaccinations for employees. If employees choose to not get vaccinated, they will be required to take a weekly COVID test and wear a different color badge indicating their status as “unvaccinated.”

Moms for America® founder and President Kimberly Fletcher said, “We need to make it abundantly clear that we will not tolerate this type of totalitarian mandate. The idea of different colored ID badges is a clear sign of discrimination, separating those who ‘complied’ with completely unreasonable dictates from those who choose not to get experimented on. We should have the right to make our own healthcare decisions, and it shouldn’t be held against us in our place of work.”

Several healthcare workers in the area, upon hearing the news, knew it was time for action. Rebekah Ricks, Moms for America Florida State Coordinator, communicated with Nikki Murphey, a fellow Moms for America team member as well as a nurse practitioner, and began coordinating a march.

“We just knew that our voices needed to be heard,” said Ricks. “We didn’t want them to think that they could get away with forcing rules and regulations on us that are unconstitutional.”

The Moms for America team helped local healthcare workers organize the march, which will meet at local Munn Park. The marchers will walk past Lakeland Regional Health Hospital, and end at Watson Clinic Main.

While this march is for healthcare workers rights, Ricks made it clear that anyone is welcome to join the fight for freedom. “If you’re not a healthcare worker, believe me they are coming for you next,” she declared. “Please share, please show up, and please bring your signs!”

“Threatening people’s jobs if they don’t submit to a still-experimental vaccine doesn’t sound very healthy or American to me,” Fletcher said.  “We the people need to push back, and I commend these Florida healthcare workers standing up for their freedoms.”

  1. When Ms. Fletcher can refer to herself as Kimberly Fletcher, MD I will give her concerns some thought. Until then – get your shot, lady.
