BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – A mobile home in Brooksville was destroyed by a fire on Sunday evening, sending one firefighter to the hospital. Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to the scene on Sunshine Grove Road around 7:30 p.m. after reports of an explosion from the back of the home.

Firefighters faced challenges battling the intense blaze due to heavy fire throughout the structure and obstructed windows and doors. A significant amount of ammunition inside the home further complicated their efforts.
