A chilling tale of violence and betrayal has emerged from Washington County, Missouri, where Tony Charboneau stands accused of brutally murdering his ex-girlfriend, Amy Hogue, and enlisting the help of his new girlfriend, Brandi Luffy, to dispose of the body.
Hogue, 43, was reported missing in mid-June, and her remains were tragically discovered seven weeks later, on August 2nd, buried in a shallow grave near Charboneau’s residence. The gruesome discovery revealed a bullet hole in her skull.

According to probable cause statements, a heated argument on June 20th escalated into a horrific assault, with Charboneau allegedly punching and stomping on Hogue. Luffy confessed to aiding Charboneau in restraining the victim to a wheelchair with ratchet straps. The couple then retrieved tools for their grim task, including shovels, a tarp, a pickax, and a gun.
Luffy recounted to investigators that she acted as a lookout while Charboneau executed Hogue with a gunshot to the head and proceeded to bury her. Charboneau reportedly spent the entire day concealing the body, while Luffy remained at the vehicle.
