HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Update- This woman was located safe and is in good health. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT.
Alda Assuncao Miranda was last seen at 10 p.m. on 12-28-2020 at her Spring Hill home.
Family members reported her missing shortly before 9 a.m. on 12-29-2020, after they were unable to locate Mrs. Miranda at her home. Mrs. Miranda also failed to show up for work this morning at a Brooksville healthcare facility.
Both family members and her employer indicated Mrs. Miranda has been becoming increasing forgetful. On a separate occasion, Mrs. Miranda went missing for 12 hours.
Mrs. Miranda is believed to be driving a white 2020 Kia Forte bearing Florida tag/8755VR.
