ORLANDO, Fla. – A plume of smoke seen rising above Walt Disney World Resort on Saturday was caused by a fire in a walk-in cooler behind the France Pavilion at Epcot, according to Disney officials. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred in a backstage area behind the France Pavilion, part of Epcot’s World Showcase. Photos and videos of the smoke plume, captured by park guests and others in the Orlando area, circulated widely on social media.
