WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – A 13-year-old student from Thomas E. Weightman Middle School was arrested tonight after making threats against fellow students.
The student, who is currently suspended from school, faces charges of Written Threats to Kill and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device, according to Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

While there is no immediate threat to the school or its students, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office is urging parents and guardians to speak with their children about the serious consequences of making threats and the importance of reporting any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
