A Michigan woman is facing charges after allegedly killing her girlfriend’s 4-month-old baby while the mother was at work. Savannah Marie Miller, 26, was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.
According to court documents, Miller had been sober for four months but consumed eight shots of Fireball whiskey that she ordered through a delivery service the night she was babysitting. The following morning, the infant, Renzi McCall, was found unresponsive and struggling to breathe.
A coworker of the baby’s mother described seeing Renzi earlier that day as “happy, friendly, laughing, smiling” with no visible injuries.

However, Miller later admitted to being solely responsible for the injuries that led to the baby’s death, though she claimed they were not intentional.
Miller is currently facing charges related to the infant’s death. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the devastating consequences of alcohol abuse and the importance of responsible childcare.
A GoFundMe launched to raise money for Renzi’s family has raised nearly $7,000.

“Renzi was a happy, smiling baby who brought immense joy to everyone around her. Amber is now facing unimaginable pain and grief,” the organizer wrote. “We ask for continued prayers and support for Amber and her family during this incredibly difficult time.”
