HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 28-year-old Michigan man was killed overnight in a crash that happened on US-41 North at 1:05 am.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 23-year-old Land O Lakes woman, was traveling northbound on US-41.
South of Crenshaw Lake Road, a pedestrian walking across the highway entered the path of the vehicle and was struck.

The 28-year-old male pedestrian from Waterford, Michigan, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The driver was transported to an area hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries.
